Lethbridge Alberta is a rapidly growing city, as new subdivisions and neighbourhoods need to be constructed to match the population growth. One such area is Legacy Ridge in the north east quadrant of the city. Logic Lumber reached out to Structural Truss in the beginning of 2025 with a tantalizing prospect – two 8-plexes and six 6-plexes in one patch of land, built by Cedar Ridge Quality Homes. The project would require floor trusses, pre-fabricated wall panels, and roof trusses.

The floor trusses were delivered for the first 6-plex in March 2025. Because each building is being constructed from top to bottom one at a time, not all of the floors for all the multifamily buildings were delivered at once – but all told, each 6Plex utilized 166 individual floor trusses, and the 8Plexes needed 244 trusses.

Our wall shop has confirmed that for the entirety of the project, 1,038 pre-fabricated wall panels were manufactured. Pre-fabricated panels saves the construction crew time and manpower, as they can be put right into place as opposed to needing any additional construction on-site.

As for the roof trusses, Structural Truss manufactured 99 per building for the 6Plexes and 204 per building for the 8Plexes. There were dozens of styles picked by the designers, including our Howe and Gable trusses.
